The IT Officer is primarily responsible to the Unit Head of Organizational Development & Operations and shall assist with the office's day-to-day IT and website needs. The role is primarily focused on website design, management, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform web maintenance and site maintenance for units under AIT Solutions.
  2. Manage website content and coordinate with the AIT Helpdesk on all website-related matters.
  3. Design, update, and maintain AITS Events, including the ACECOMS and events website.
  4. Maintain and support the Human Resource Management Information System of AITS.
  5. Work with AITS team members to provide IT technical support.
  6. Manage overall IT resources and respond to related queries and troubleshooting problems.
  7. Update and maintain all websites under the unit.
  8. Support overall event management (both online and hybrid mode).
  9. Assist in procurement management and track overall inventory of IT assets.
  10. Handle official email accounts and communicate related responses.
  11. Upload content and track activities for promotional events and social media.
  12. Provide technical support during various events organized by AIT Solutions.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 years of practical experience in website design/development and IT resource management.
  2. Practical experience in WordPress, CSS, and website content management (programming language experience is an advantage, but this role is not primarily a software development position).
  3. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Ability to learn and evaluate new tools and concepts.
  5. Ability to work in a team environment.
  6. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  7. Good at problem-solving, multitasking, and creative thinking.
