Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement schemes of work, unit plans, and lesson plans aligned with the ICT curriculum
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Monitor, assess, and maintain accurate records of student progress
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall development of the school
- Ensure proper use and care of ICT facilities, including the Computer Lab
- Maintain and support school ICT systems (e.g., LAN, Wi-Fi, hardware, and peripherals)
- Update and manage the school website and social media platforms
- Lead and supervise robotics and coding initiatives
- Contribute actively to the Technology Improvement Committee
- Ensure all practices align with the AITIS A–Z Guide and school policies
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (major or minor)
- Valid Teaching Certification/License
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable teaching experience (preferably in Pre-K and Primary levels)
- Experience teaching ICT to young learners
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong initiative, flexibility, and interpersonal skills
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft and Macintosh operating systems
- Knowledge of iOS systems, iPad applications, and device maintenance
