AIT International School (AITIS) invites applications from qualified, experienced, and passionate educators for the position of ICT Teacher. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is committed to fostering students’ technological skills and supporting their overall development in a modern learning environment.

Position: ICT Teacher/Substitute Teacher
Reporting To: School Coordinator
Working Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Role Overview
The ICT Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Information and Communication Technology to students across various grade levels. The role includes promoting students’ intellectual, social, and technical development in line with AITIS values, mission, and educational principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement schemes of work, unit plans, and lesson plans aligned with the ICT curriculum
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
  • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor, assess, and maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall development of the school
  • Ensure proper use and care of ICT facilities, including the Computer Lab
  • Maintain and support school ICT systems (e.g., LAN, Wi-Fi, hardware, and peripherals)
  • Update and manage the school website and social media platforms
  • Lead and supervise robotics and coding initiatives
  • Contribute actively to the Technology Improvement Committee
  • Ensure all practices align with the AITIS A–Z Guide and school policies

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (major or minor)
  • Valid Teaching Certification/License
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable teaching experience (preferably in Pre-K and Primary levels)
  • Experience teaching ICT to young learners
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Strong initiative, flexibility, and interpersonal skills
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft and Macintosh operating systems
  • Knowledge of iOS systems, iPad applications, and device maintenance
