We are looking for a research associate (RA) who can work as one of the team members of the above-mentioned IDRC supported project. 

Required tasks

  • Coordination with three pilot project sites and the project team members (around 10 people).
  • Liaison with IDRC and the AQUADAPT GESI team
  • Project administration including drafting letter and memos and other documents
  • Support financial management
  • Draft financial and technical reports as required.
  • Follow up with team members and consultants to ensure that the activities are carried out on time.
  • Managing information dissemination through social media, websites, newsletters are required.
  • Any other related tasks required by the PI. 

Qualification

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in the area of social science or aquaculture (gender background is preferable and a strong advantage).
  • Good English writing skills.
  • Team player and good communication skills (responsive and responsible).
  • Proven record in social media communication.
  • Good in details and good in numbers (financial management).
