Scope: Assist faculty members, laboratory supervisor, technician, and students for field research work and maintenance of the ASE research facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Support students during their thesis/dissertation research activities
  2. Assist faculty members and students during laboratory classes
  3. Assist technicians with services in the ASE workshop
  4. Assist technicians in maintaining laboratory instruments and equipment
  5. Assist in the repair and maintenance of tractors, engines, and machinery under the ASE program
  6. Maintain the agricultural machinery shed and ensure all tractors, greenhouses, and farm equipment are in good working condition
  7. Perform fieldwork and groundwork, and maintain agricultural research fields and greenhouses
  8. Maintain accurate records of assignments and work orders
  9. Assist technicians with daily and/or weekly monitoring of housekeeping, maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and resource conservation (electricity and water) in all ASE laboratories, machinery stores, and experimental research fields
  10. Perform any other tasks assigned by the ASE Academic Program or SERD

Required Qualifications:

  1. Education: Lower Secondary Education or Senior High School or Higher
  2. Able to understand and communicate in basic Thai and English
  3. Basic use of Internet, Microsoft Office, Google tools, and ability to learn new applications
  4. Experience in farming skills: Experience with rice, field crops, or horticultural crops. Basic knowledge about fertilizers, pesticides, and soil preparation for cultivation. Experience in smart greenhouse operations is an advantage
  5. Experience in operating farm equipment and tools for crop farming
  6. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently
  7. Strong team player with good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
