AIT School of Management (http://www.som.ait.asia) invites applications for full-time faculty (Any Rank) in Business Analytics.

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is an international institute of higher education based in Thailand. It was established in 1959 to help meet the region's growing needs for advanced learning in engineering, science and technology, and management, making an impact through research, outreach and capacity-building. Its students come from over 50+ countries with alums from 100+ countries/territories.

The School of Management was established in 1987 and has one of the top-ranked MBA programs in Asia. It operates at the AIT main campus (Pathum Thani), in downtown Bangkok (Asoke-Sukhumvit), and in the AIT Vietnam Centers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach a minimum of 9 credits per year
  • Research and publish regularly in reputable journals  
  • Supervise Master's Students' Research/ Project.
  • Supervise Doctoral (PhD & DBA) Students' Dissertations
  • Initiate Sponsored Project

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD from a highly-regarded university with a specialization in Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a relevant field of study
  • At least 2 years of research and teaching experience related to Business Analytics.
  • Ability to teach graduate courses in Business Analytics, Digital Transformation, and relevant areas.
  • Track record of research and publications in recognized international journals.
  • Relevant experience and interest in supervising students at the graduate and postgraduate levels in an international university. Note: The chosen candidate will begin to supervise 3+ students immediately upon starting.

Desired Additional Experience:

  • Administrative and other institutional service, outreach to external stakeholders (e.g., industry, government, NGOs, media), and consulting and training.
