Job Description:

  • Assist hatchery Technician in his/her day- to-day tasks:
    • Hatchery water system maintenance
    • Incubators/trays set up maintenance
    • Fish egg treatments, rearing and maintenance
    • SRT procedures
    • Fry/fingerlings conditioning and sales preparations
  • Assit with tilapia egg collection during egg harvesting and transport the collected eggs to the main hatchery
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the field and main hatcheries
  • Responsible in ensuring problem free operations of the hatchery at all time i.e. 24 hours/7 days a week
  • To be in duty station six days a week
  • Assist with other tasks as required
