General Summary
​

The Government Relations Unit (GRU) is responsible for facilitating various processes, including:

  • Thai permit to stay, entry and re-entry visas, extensions and cancellation of visas, for non-Thai employees and students.
  • Visas for official travel of faculty, staff, and students to various countries.
  • Obtaining and renewing work permits for non-Thai employees.

Qualification and Experiences

  • A bachelor’s degree in any fields
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in administrative work.
  • Excellent command of English and ability to draft official Thai letters. Proof of English proficiency is required.
  • A dynamic professional with strong multitasking skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
  • Capable of problem-solving, proposing effective solutions, and making well-informed decisions.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, an effective team player, with excellent planning and interpersonal abilities. Willing to take on tasks at all levels.
  • Adaptability to multicultural environments and changing circumstances.
  • Proven computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Key duties/responsibilities

  • Prepare documents for processing:
    • Thai permit to stay, entry and re-entry visas, visa extensions and cancellation for non-Thai employees and students, including 90 day-report for students.
    • Residence notification form.
    • Internal charges for outreach centers’ visa process
  • Maintain and update visa data, and issue reminders to non-Thai employees and students.
  • Provide assistance to faculty, staff, and students at the GRU counter.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
