Job brief

We are looking for an outstanding program officer to be responsible for the digital marketing and promotion of the school with good experience in online information technology, web content management system and someone who is creative and innovative. He/she should be able to develop and deliver School marketing and communication plans to support School/Departmental strategic objectives and priorities and marketing and recruitment strategies.

The postholder will operationally manage, implement and monitor multiple campaigns and projects spanning student recruitment, showcase research and other activities to enhance the schools’ profile and reputation as a high-quality first choice destination in both Thailand and overseas using technology.

The Program Officer will directly report to the Dean and work closely with the school and institute teams.

TOR for the position’s specific scope and responsibilities are as follows:

Required:

  • Be able to implement marketing strategies developed by the marketing team digitally and online.
  • Develop the follow-up system to increase student applications and intake
  • Generate data from various back-end services (mainly student registration) and databases
  • Know how to operate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Search Engine Marketing (SEM) tools.
  • Take a lead on managing the schools’ social channels and ensure that they are utilized fully.
  • Support in planning advertisement and promotional campaigns including brochures, posters and videos for the school on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
  • Raise brand awareness online and offline.
  • Utilize the schools print/web content developers, create, write, and coordinate production of all School/Department marketing communications in line with AITs’-wide branding.
  • A team-player who can collaborate/coordinate with colleagues and relevant team members  
  • Generate ongoing new and interactive digital content for marketing campaigns including

Videos, posters, flyers, and blogs. Undertake regular content audits to identify gaps and consider alternative methods of distributing and showcasing content.

Preferred:

  • Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution
  • Assist in workshop / conferences/ webinars as and when needed
  • Coordinate in outreach activities and communicate the school events and highlights in social media to reach maximum audiences.
  • Where appropriate, provide ‘marketing update’ presentations and regular reports on the performance of activities to relevant teams across the school.
  • Support other departments with their promotion activities and as directed.

Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science/IT or directly related business subject or equivalent postgraduate professional qualifications
  • Experience of various market research and evaluation techniques, including analysis
  • Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics.  Knowledge of new media/web technologies
  • Digital marketing experience including organic, paid search, paid social, and use of new digital technologies
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing techniques and principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, graphic designing tools and marketing software
  • Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process and Search Engine Marketing tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience in coordination of outreach activities in Thai context a plus.
  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
  • Experience with marketing automation is a plus
  • Experience with student recruitment promotion is a plus
  • Fluency in Thai language a plus
