Job Description:

Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Strategic Partner Manager. This position will work primarily under supervision of Vice President for Knowledge Transfer and will be responsible for

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop partner networks and strategic partnerships with enterprises, corporates, and other stakeholder in accordance with the vision AIT
  • Use strategic approaches to drive results through partnerships
  • Coordinate, and support, the management of ongoing relationships with existing partners and where relevant, leverage those relationships to greater collective impact in coordination with other centers of AIT
  • Conceptualize new strategic initiatives with other centers and units in AIT that could be built around or benefit from corporate, alumni, enterprises and other partnerships
  • Provide strategic inputs for understanding market gaps which can be capitalized by AIT’s Entrepreneurship center, AIT Extension, AIT Solutions and other Centers.
  • Coordinate professional development programs, consulting projects and graduates club activities
  • Develop and manage reporting and financial tracking of activities undertaken by various activities
  • Engage/support in day to day operation of offices under VPKT.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in technical or business discipline
  • At least four years of experience in analyst or business development roles
  • Experience in industry, marketing and demonstrated effective communication and human relation skills required.
  • Strong analytic skills (financial, planning, operational)
  • Strong relationship building skills and an entrepreneurial approach that leverages further opportunities
  • The candidate should have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; good negotiation skills; the ability to interpret and manage numerous complex agreements; the ability to manage and coordinate multiple and diverse projects simultaneously through to completion; be highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a team environment and can establish priorities.

He/she must be able to work independently, communicate in English effectively and be available to fulfill the needs of the Unit.
