General Qualifications:

1. Must have a doctoral degree from a well-recognized university/institution with a strong research background and interest in:

• Production and Operation Management
• Manufacturing Systems, Production Engineering, Product Design

2. Competence in teaching and carrying out research at the post graduate level.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. 

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting all academic activities including teaching and research in the subject area of specialization.
2. Supervising master and doctoral student thesis work and publish outputs in recognized international journals.
3. Developing partnership with industries, government and international agencies.
4. Attracting sponsored research projects from the public and private sectors.
5. Developing new curricula
6. Participating in promotion activities to recruit   students, short training courses, conferences/seminars, and other professional activities.

Required Qualifications

1. Ph.D. or equivalent, in OR&MS, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field
2. Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research
3. Strong publication record demonstrating ability to perform independent research
